[Re]loaded Modpack
New modpack for [Re] World SMP, inspired by Create+ and Vanilla+, mixing the two feels.
Documentation
Documentation was generated using Gemini, and is available here.
Changing mod configuration
If you want to remove/add an optional mod or change rendering mod, do NOT remove/reinstall it from the launcher or from the minecraft files directly, but you need to remove it through unsup/packwiz-installer to make sure that updates do not readd it or remove it again.
packwiz-installer will prompt you everytime you start the game, unsup by default does not.
To make unsup prompt you, you'll have to open your .minecraft, this can be done in Prism Launcher by clicking on the "Folder" button on the right side (after selecting the [Re]loaded instance), then navigate to the minecraft folder. Now open unsup.ini with any text editor and set offer_change_flavors=true. Save the file, launch the game and press the "Change Flavors" button.
Installation
- Download [Re]loaded.zip
- Install Prism Launcher
- Click "Add instance"
- Click "Import from zip"
- Select the
.zipfile - Click "OK"
- Launch the game
- Unsup will pop up:
- Choose your rendering mod (choose Iris if you want shaders, otherwise Sodium) [WARNING: choosing "None" will make your game run slow af, so prepare a NASA PC]
- Choose your Item & Recipe viewer mod (EMI is recommended)
- You can also disable optional mods that are not required to play, but they are strictly recommended (it is not guaranteed that the experience will be the same as intended, but you'll be able to join the server)
- tl;dr it is recommended to leave everything as is and proceed :)
- Click "Done", mods will be installed and your game will start!
Alternatives to Prism Launcher
As stated, Prism Launcher is heavily recommended because the instance was tested on this launcher. However you may have the same experience if you install unsup as java agent (you could even use the vanilla launcher if you wanted to), you can extract the unsup.ini file from the zip (inside the minecraft folder) and place it in your .minecraft folder.
If this method doesn't work for you (or you think it's too difficult) you may also use packwiz-installer to install the modpack. The UI is worse, but it works (you also can't choose flavors, you'll have to select mods manually). (please note this method DOES NOT work with the vanilla launcher, you'll need a MultiMC-based launcher)
If you still can't figure it out (ugh), and you can't use Prism because you're a special kid with special needs, contact me on telegram ig
